Publicis Worldwide has appointed Dylan Williams as its global chief strategy and innovation officer.
Williams, who joins from Mother where he was partner and chief strategic officer, will report to CEO Arthur Sadoun, as he attempts to strengthen the company's presence in the UK.
Sadoun explained: "Bringing Dylan into Publicis Worldwide demonstrates the importance we place on strategy and innovation being at the heart of everything we do. Dylan is one of the most recognized and successful planners in the industry. He is also a real agent of change, a strategic leader with a fantastic creative track record who operates at the intersection of business, creativity and technology. We are very lucky to have him on board".
Williams added: "I’ve been really struck by the vision for Publicis that Arthur and the team in London took me through. And the passion with which it was delivered. Something good is growing and I immediately wanted to be part of it. I thank the guys at Mother and at BBH for nurturing me to a point where I feel ready for a step like this one.”
Williams spent nearly eight years at Mother, having originally joined as head of strategy.
