Publicis Singapore boosts digital expansion with INEO team

SINGAPORE – The team of INEO Solutions has joined Publicis Singapore effective immediately.

Leading and multi-awarded digital and social media agency, INEO has confirmed that its 22-member strong team is now working full time in Publicis Singapore.

Kelvin Koo, former CEO for INEO, has been appointed as Head of Digital for Publicis Singapore.

Koo told adobo that the Dela Pena and her vision for Publicis was the number one reason for ceasing operations as INEO and joining the agency. "Trust and culture is key and I needed to seriously evaluate who was going to be my boss and what can my team achieve under Publicis that we could not achieve alone.

Once we had a few discussions, everything made sense and this was a perfect match for both of us," he said.

Koo and his team will be moving into the Publicis office on May 5.

Under Koo’s leadership, the former INEO team has won multiple awards that include Excellence in Social Media, Marketing Excellence Awards 2012, Best Idea, Social and Best Use of Social, MARKies 2013, Excellence in Content Marketing, Marketing Excellence Awards 2013, to name a few.

He added, “We are surrounded by entrepreneurial and very driven people in Publicis Singapore and this matches our DNA. We are excited to work with Lou Dela Pena and her team to transform Publicis Singapore into an ideas agency with a strong focus on digital. The opportunities are endless.”

Dela Pena believes that the new hires will change the way the agency approaches every single brief. Over 30% of Publicis Singapore is now composed of pure-play digital specialists.

She said: “It is inspiring to work with sharp, energetic young people who get it and just get on with it. We are about leading the change for clients and ourselves. And with this, we are very much looking forward to creating the future with the addition of Kelvin and his team”.
